Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026. PassportFrame (passportframe.com) provides online passport and visa photo preparation. This policy describes what we collect and why.

Information we collect

Photos you upload — stored temporarily in encrypted object storage to process your order.
Face landmark data — coordinates derived in your browser to crop and check compliance. We do not sell biometric data.
Email address — optional at checkout; used to send your download link and receipts.
Payment data — processed by Creem; we do not store card numbers.
Technical data — IP address and request metadata for fraud prevention, rate limiting, and service logs.
Country requests — if you ask for a new country, we store your message (and optional email) in Cloudflare KV for up to one year.

How we use data

We use your information only to process photos, deliver downloads, prevent abuse, improve the service, and respond to support requests. We do not use your photos for advertising or model training.

Retention

Unpaid preview uploads expire after 24 hours. Paid deliverables and download links are available for 7 days, then removed. Configure R2 lifecycle rules on our buckets to delete objects automatically. Logs may be retained longer for security and accounting.

Processors

We use Cloudflare (hosting, storage, transactional email via Email Service), Neon (database), and Creem (payments). Each provider processes data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Analytics

In production we may use Plausible Analytics (cookie-free, aggregated page views). No advertising trackers.

Your rights

You may request access or deletion of personal data by emailing support@passportframe.com with your order ID. We will verify ownership before deleting paid order records required for tax or dispute purposes.
